Life without the Internet

Nowadays the Internet is very important for us. We can do just everything we want to with it: read news, communicate with our relatives and friends, buy things, play games etc. On the other hand, we spend a lot of time using it. So sometimes such questions arise — could we live without the Internet, would it be better or worse?

As for me, I think that the Internet is an essential part not only of our life but of our mind. We use it a lot during the day and if we have any question, the first thing we do — we google it. World Wide Web is the biggest information storage on the planet. Actually, it helps us to live: it tells us all about the weather, traffic and other important things.

So let’s imagine that one day the Internet has disappeared and nobody knows the cause of it. What happens? People can’t work, all worldwide systems are off, banks has lost all their money, enormous corporations are falling into ruins. We are observing the beginning of the apocalypse, our world cannot function.

To sum up my ideas, I’d say that the Internet is like a spider web which is in every little corner of our planet and our life is impossible with out it, because our world is addicted to it, it’s reliant on it.
