Why do we still need gender roles?

Nowadays, men and women have equal rights, they do the same things, and formally there is no difference between them. Discussions on this topic are very popular today. Followers of feminism shout that women are even better than men, others say that woman is a weak creature, and she needs man's protection. Anyway, looking through all these topics you may appear such question: «Do we still need gender roles and why, if so?».

From my point of view, that is evident that we can not live without this dividing. That is how our world functions. Some roles in this life are definitely for women and some are for men.

First of all, looking over the human's history we see that women always were better at housekeeping, sewing, etc. while men usually did all hard work like building, hunting, being at war and others. So, as the result, there is a stereotype, that women are unable to do difficult things, which need to be physically fit and strong, as far as men are not be able to cope with small, diligent work. Actually, I think that is right, because it is the difference in our natures. So gender roles help us to live better and easier. Everyone does what he can and there is no valuable reason to break this system.

To sum up my ideas, I can say that, despite the rights equality and all these feminism waves, we still need gender roles, because they make our life easier for everybody. That is how our world functions.
