Gentlemen belong to a different generation. Really?

People have always thought that women are weaker then men, and that's why men have to save women, let women go first in dangerous situations, offer her a chair in the restaurant, buy her flowers and so on. 
We often use the word "gentleman" to describe a person who has a respect for others,helps those who need their help. Someone who has a kind heart, not just expensive clothes and good education. 
But the majority of people associate the word "gentleman" with something old-fashioned. Many people think that gentlemen could only exist in XVIII-XX centuries.
 But why this association is so common? Let's find out!
I. Women now more likely to become self-sufficient them a century ago.
II. Men think that to be a gentlemen nowadays is the same thing as to be a henpecked. (I don't actually know why, but its quite common among men)
III. Men think that to be a gentleman you must have very expensive clothing. 
IV. Women think that gentlemen have necessarily be rich.

So these are the thing I would like to tell you. Boys,please, you still can be a gentlemen, because it upper-classes its really important how good are your manners and how good you can behave.
